Pale Ale
Pale Ale
The term “pale ale” is derived from the “pale” malts used by English breweries like Bass & Co. The first known mention of the term “pale ale” was around 1703, given to beers made from malts dried with high-carbon coke, which resulted in a lighter colour than other beers popular at that time.
Did you know… Pale Ale is the lower alcohol version of the IPA brewed for the British public. Pale Ales are generally medium bodied with a nice malt and hop balance with a lot of hop aroma and flavour.
